I'm 23 now! My birthday was yesterday, and it was glorious. It was a beautiful day here, work flew by, and I had a lovely night out with my friends.
At work yesterday, I walked into what I thought was a meeting with my two supervisors and turned out to be an adorable surprise party. There's something so nice about actually being a part of something, as opposed to temping which makes you feel, and rightfully so, replaceable. When I walked back to my desk, there was a beautiful flower arrangement from my parents waiting for me. So, lots of birthday joy yesterday.
I've realized that, ever since I started the new job, I have been pretty awful at keeping up the blog on a regular basis. So, I'll be making a sincere effort to do that - and the next fiction installation next time!
